I also think that they look gorgeous on slimmer and more petite figures, especially to create a more edgy look.
If you're used to wearing jeans with a lot of elastane you will probably find high rise straight leg jeans a little uncomfortable to start with, but honestly they give so much over time so bare with the uncomfortable first few wears. Despite their lack of elastane, they do work great as "dinner" trousers, and by that I mean that there is enough room for a pizza-baby, and they do actually work well at hiding a bloat.
They're also such a versatile style. For a casual look, a plain white t-shirt tucked into a light-wash pair and finished off with some chunky white trainers, or opt for a black pair with a puffed sleeve crop top (like this ASOS one*) and a chunky belt for an on-trend night-out look. My heart is set on the Topshop ones, but New Look have some great options which are more affordable.
In my wardrobe I have a dark blue pair, a light blue wash and a black pair. As much as I want to get some more colours, I feel that I have all the jeans I could ever need, aside from an off-white pair which I am eyeing up. Saying that, if anyone wants to buy me a pair of blue Re/done jeans I most definitely won't complain.
