Wonderstruck Perfume Review

Hi guys!

So this is a post that I have been meaning to do for a very very long time (and its now a very old product) - and now that I have got onto my third bottle of this perfume, I feel it is time to write you guys a review.
Of course, it is the gorgeous Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift. For those of you who were unaware, Taylor Swift is potentially my all time favourite person in the whole entire world - so I apologise if this post is slightly biased - but I do think this perfume is amazing even for those people who may not be as fond as I am of Taylor.

please excuse my vile chipped nail polish...

I got my first bottle of this perfume for Christmas 2012, and I have worn it religiously every day since. Personally, I have not found many celebrity perfumes that smell amazing as they usually smell very tacky and cheap, in my opinion. The scent of Wonderstruck is completely different, and is obviously aimed at people my age, rather than the older woman. To me, it smells fruity, kind of like raspberry and peach with a hint of vanilla - and some people say green tea, although I am yet to smell this underlying scent. For me, this perfume is perfect for during the day as it is so light and floral scented.
The staying power of this perfume isn't amazing, although it is an Eau De Parfum - and I find that I do have to reapply it.

The packaging is just so gorgeous, designed by Taylor herself, I think it really reflects the name of the perfume and the magical scent it has. The bottle itself is purple with a holographic effect finish, and there is a chain that runs along the top with bird cages and other interesting charms.

Wonderstruck is available from all the regular Fragrance shops on the highstreet, however I have found it to be cheaper from Fragrance Direct,  where the 100ml retails for £32.50.

London Fashion Weekend - 20/09/2013

Hey guys!
On Friday I was lucky enough to go to London Fashion Weekend with 3 of my friends. We got so much free stuff and it was such an amazing day so I thought i'd share some of my freebies and photos with you all.

When we first arrived we collected our goodie bag which was full of food, coffee, makeup and other random things. The actual bag itself was such a cute and quirky design, and I'll probably take it with me when I go shopping (saving the planet and all).

Here are all my freebies and a few photos from the day...
The first product that I noticed in my goodie bag was these amazing Label.M hair care products. Label.M is owned by Toni&Guy, and when I was on work experience at an advertising and marketing agency, I had to help create some marketing campaigns for Label.M so I was so happy I could finally try some of their products. I got the dry shampoo and shine spray included with my goodie bag which I was thrilled about. My L'oreal shine spray is amazing, but it's slowly running out, so I am glad I now have one to replace it with!

The next thing I picked out was this Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in the shade Fuchsia Flash which is a gorgeous fuchsia (duh) pinky sort of tone. It's a very bold colour, one that I wouldn't necessarily have bought myself, but I think it could work given the right occasion. The application is so smooth and the lipstick itself is so pigmented. I absolutely love the packaging its very much like the Maybelline Pop Stick lipsticks but slightly more red.

Another Maybelline product that was in my bag was this gorgeous red nail polish. It is from the Vintage Leather collection and is called Red Grained. It has small grainy bits in it which I believe are glitter particles but I'm not entirely sure. The flakes aren't particularly visible when you apply the nail pain but I will do a full review later in the week so you can all see what it looks like on.

The last makeup item was a bit of a let down because, like most people, I do not wear electric blue mascara. I prefer to stick to the natural colour of my eyelashes, which happens to be black not blue. The product was the Maybelline Colour Shock Mascara, which has cool packaging - but I don't think it will be coming out of this packaging anytime soon.

The other bits and bobs were Natural Sweets, tea and coffee - but I'm sure since this is mainly a beauty blog, you guys don't really want to hear about that (which is good because I haven't opened any of them).
When we were going round the show, there was so many other free bits being handed out to us, for example lots of Kinder Buenos - yum. We found the ELLE magazine stand and they had a fantastic offer on which was a years subscription for £15! Considering Elle is around £4 something for one issue, I couldn't turn down the offer. Especially when I found out what they were giving away when you subscribed.
You got a free mini Benefit They're Real Mascara, and a Benefit Hoola Bronzer! The Hoola Bronzer isn't quite my colour, infact it's my exact skin colour, which is so sad because it's a great bronzer for contouring and it retails at £23. I am selling this on my eBay because I know someone else will make better use of it than I will.

There was also an amazing Maybelline stand where they had created 4 looks and put the products they used to create that look into a mini gift box. You could choose which look you wanted to recreate and you would receive the box, complete with all the makeup required inside. Mine was free as it was included with the ticket, however you could buy them separately for £10 if you wanted. It was such a bargain because all the products together totalled to around £25.
I chose the look called Electric Punk - and in my box there was the Mega Plush Mascara, the Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Intense Black, 2 Colour Show Nail polishes in Electric Pink and Blackout, and lastly the Super Stay 14 HR Lipstick in the colour Continuous Cranberry (what a name!).

That is pretty much it for all the free stuff from LFW, so I shall leave you with some pictures of the catwalk and from the day in general!

Thanks for reading! I'll be doing some reviews of the products I got later on in the week and I'll do another post in the next week or so about the different styles that are in AW13.
